Betty Dean Stutsman Sears, 87, of Middletown, passed away on April 24, 2013 at Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN. She was born on February 9, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Betty graduated from Anderson High School class of 1943-1944. She is a retired Librarian for Anderson Public Library and was Director of Aid to the Military Families for the American Red Cross. She was active in the Middletown Garden Club and had a thriving ceramic business.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Diana Sears McDaniel of Middletown, IN, Nancy Sears Michael D. Brown, grandsons, Michael A. Courtney Demarr Brown of Houston, TX, David L. Riley Brown of TN, great-grandsons, Brycen, Brennan and Bronson Brown She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Sears, father, Jessie Stutsman, mother, Bessie Reed Stutsman, and infant daughter who passed at birth, Carrol Ann Sears.,
