Betty Daly, 86, of Fountain Hills, Az. passed away peacefully at her residence September 14th, 2011.
Born November 17, 1925, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Robert and Bertha (Bethke) Bramer. She graduated from Eau Claire High School, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Class ’43. She moved from Wisconsin to Phoenix, Az in 1952 and was employed as a ballroom dance instructor at Arthur Murray’s School of Dance. An accomplished dancer, she was the recipient of many trophies and accolades, winning many Medal Ball Awards. She credited her training with Arthur Murray for bringing out her ability to see and promote the talents of others. To always see the good in others – An attribute that she claimed greatly helped her in her future role as a minister’s wife. And it was at Murray’s where she met and married the love of her life, Thomas Daly, on September 17, 1954. She left Murray’s to start her family and soon after she followed husband Tom as he began his journey into the ministry.
