Betty Clark, 76, of Anderson, passed away on February 1, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on March 6, 1936 in Lexington, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson.. She retired from the Anderson Herald Bulletin in 1991 after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church, the TOPS Club, and the Country Friends Extension Homemakers Club.
Betty is survived by her children, Donald Regina Shanks of Anderson, IN, Jeffery Dale Cathy Shanks of Anderson, IN, and, Steven Douglas Debbie Shanks of Anderson, IN, a step-son, Dane Clark of Anderson, IN, a sister, Karen Sue Rader of Kentucky, grandchildren, Cissy and Tony Shanks of Anderson, IN, Joshua and Savannah Shanks of Anderson, IN, Brianna Pitts and Athena Gaw of Anderson, IN, Amy Wilhoite of Anderson, IN, and Andrew Counceller of Anderson, IN, great-grandchildren, Zane Shanks and Zarec Parish, Meredith Pitts Jr, Albus Dutchataw, Matthew Watson, Kaitlynn Wiilhoite, and Tatum Dunham, step-grandchildren, George and Georgianna Taylor, Emily, Taylor and Abby Clark. She is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by mother, Lucilla Staley Boots, father, Kenneth Lee Boots, and her husband, Harry Clark.
