Betty Blackwell passed from this life to her eternal life, Aug 5th at her home in
Destin, Fl.
She was born Nov 10th, 1928 in Walker County, Al to parents James A. and Audie Blackwell.
Although confined to a wheel chair for all of her adult life, she lived life to the fullest and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a well known artist in the area and her
Art work won numerous awards in the Destin Art Shows for several years.
She will be truly missed by her family whom she loved dearly.
Surviving are her sister, Martha Ward, brother-in-law, Philip Ward, Destin; her niece Angela Ward, Santa Rosa Beach, Fl; a nephew, Sam Ward and wife Sonya, and 4
Great-nephews, all from Kennewick, Wa.
The family would like to express appreciation to all her caregivers and friends over the years. Special thanks to Betty Wilson, who was so devoted to her and cared for Betty
during the past 11 years.
