Heaven gained a comedian on Monday, August 1, 2016 when Mrs. Betty Ann Hendrix passed away. She spent many years employed at Snow-White Drive-In on Whitesburg Drive before it closed. She then began her career with Huntsville Hospital where she retired from Neonatal Nursery with over 30 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Hendrix; parents, Frank and Sue Taylor; brothers, Jimmie and Jesse Taylor, and sister Wanda Brightwell.
Mrs. Hendrix is survived by her daughters, Patricia Draper and Gwenda (Jerry) Kelley; grandchildren, Richard Kelley, Jessica (Brian) Jackson, Shannon (Tyler) Hawkins, Margaret (Chase) Ries, Lauryn (Steven) Johnson; special family friend, Penny Jones; 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and beloved pet Jack.
