Betty Ann Kopp, 92, of Scottsdale /Phoenix, AZ passed away on May 18, 2021. Betty was born on March 18, 1929 in St. Louis Missouri where she was raised by a large and loving extended family. At 17 years old, she met her future husband Walter and the couple married on May 20, 1947. They moved to Parma Heights, Ohio where they lived for 13 years and started their family. In 1959, the family moved to Scottsdale where Betty and Walter raised their 4 children and made their home for the next 52 years. They loved living in Scottsdale and made lifelong friends and memories. One of Betty’s favorite treats was going to the Sugar Bowl for a Top Hat Sundae, which after 52 years adds up to a lot of sundaes! Betty had her hands full raising 4 children. An avid sports fan, Betty attended countless little league games and other events of her children and grandchildren. Betty’s 4 children all went on to give her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was always delighted by her family’s accomplishments. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Walter Kopp and survived by daughters Cynthia Mabry (Henry) and Christine Veno (Daniel) of Phoenix, sons Mitchell (Debra) of Concord, CA and Adam (Jennifer) of Anthem, grandchildren Jennifer Mabry, Alexis Veno, Jordan Kopp, Zachary Kopp, Tobin Kopp, Tara Kopp, Gina Summers (Michael), Raina Whitehead and great grandchildren Makaela Summers, Tyler Summers and Gianna Aires. We will miss you.
