Betty Alene Morgan, of Norman, passed from this life on August 9, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born July 15, 1931, in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.
Betty loved all the babies, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was a huge Oklahoma Sooners football fan. Betty enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, cooking, and canning vegetables.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory, 2 daughters, Christy Sarff and Mary Hawkins; 8 grandchildren, Macey Stewart & husband, Travis, Mack Morgan, Jenni Shuman & husband, BJ, Jill Waller & husband, Mike, Billy Sarff, Stacy Sarff & husband, Ryan Schlicher, Jamie Lancour & husband, Zach, and Genie Hawkins & Daniel Moles; 19 great-grandchildren, Jaden Morgan, Tesa Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Josh Shuman, Emma Shuman, Sarah Shuman, Isaac Shuman, Anna Shuman, Bella Shuman, Zach Bittman & wife, Madison, Bailey Bittman, Jake Waller, Sam Waller, James Waller, Ali Schlicher, Rachel Schlicher, Rynn Schlicher, Morgan Moles, and Madison Moles; 1 great-great-grandchild, Kindrey Childress, and one-on-the-way; Daughter in law Pat Morgan; 2 sisters, Jonell Grissom, and Janie Murphy & husband, Marc; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tommy & Mary Woodrow; her husband, Gene Morgan; son, Tom Morgan; sons-in-law, Bill Sarff, and Jim Hawkins; brothers-in-law, Nolan Grissom, Joe Merkle, and Ron Collett; brother, David Woodrow; sisters, Patty Merkle, and Wanda Collett; infant sister, Mary Jo Woodrow; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Grissom.
