Bettie Lee Graham was born to the late Betty and T.J. Graham on November 24, 1942.

Bettie Lee joined Shiloh CME Church at an early age. She was also one of the children who attended Shiloh Public School (housed in Shiloh CME Church).

Bettie Lee moved to New York (Little Neck) in 1961, where she worked for 26 years. When her health began to fail, she retired from the workforce.

Bettie Lee departed this life on August 21, 2021 at the Concourse Nursing Home in Bronx, New York.

Bettie was a loving person. She was a good cook, and loved to make different cultural dishes. Bettie also loved music and dancing. She loved her family and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and T.J. Graham; two sisters, Frances Dunn and Lillian Graham; two brothers, Johnny Graham and Jimmy Graham.  She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Barbara Graham, Francine Graham and Josie Graham; two granddaughters, Chanille (Adrain) Anthony and Bertha (Keith) Graham Carradine; one grandson, Dakota Graham; three great-grandsons, Keterrion Mitchell, De’Adrain Anthony and Deontae Carradine; four great-granddaughters, Akira Anthony, Shaniyah Anthony, Za’kera Carradine and Kalyssa Anderson; three sisters, Rosie Ayala, Bronx, NY; Josie Slay, Lisman, AL; Arleen Graham, Lisman, AL; three brothers, T.J. Graham, NY; Andrew Graham, Trenton, NJ; Willie Earl Graham, Lisman, AL; a special nephew, Leon Slay, NY; a special niece, Sonji Slay-Culler, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
