Bettiejean (Disbrow) Mullen, 95, of Clayton, Indiana, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
Bettiejean was born on November 23, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Bertha Disbrow.
Bettiejean worked at Family Connection Center and took care of those afflicted with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her kids, grandkids, and of course, her animals. Along with creating memories with her loved ones, she enjoyed crocheting, making arts and crafts, and playing Sorry! and solitaire, her favorite games.
Bettiejean is survived by her two children, Michael (Katrina) Mullen and Jennifer Mullen, both of Clayton, IN; her three grandchildren, Brittney, Shelby, and Trey; her six great-grandchildren, Levi Michael Mullen, Brooklyn Grace Derringer, Lilly Marie Mullen, Ivy Renee Mullen, Sylus Frederick Thrasher, and one on the way.
Bettiejean was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Mullen, her son, Mark Mullen, and her parents, Benjamin and Bertha Disbrow.
