Bettie R. Jordan, 81, of Anderson, passed away on July 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born on March 4, 1932 in, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. She retired from Delco Remy in 1977.
She was a member of NCSC, Trustee of UAW 662 Retiree Chapter, Region 3 Hobby and Craft Show, Past Chairman of Area 7 Hobby and Craft Show and United Senior Action. She was also the oldest volunteer of the Madison County Fire Rescue House.
Bettie is survived by many loved ones including her children, Debra Bushong, Michael Jordan, Richard Terri Jordan, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and one brother and good friend, Winnie Patterson She was preceded in death by husband, Ray R. Jordan, mother, Mary Russell, father, Perry Russell, son, Rex Jordan, 3 sisters and a grandson.
