Bette Jeanne (Osborn) Rutter, 85, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February, 20, 2022.
Bette was born on December 15, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late David Osborn and Helen (Wilcox) Fansler.
Bette was a bundle of energy to all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. She was a loving mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a rock for her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Along with creating memories with her loved ones, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, tending to her flower garden, and going bowling five times a week.
Bette is survived by her two daughter, Debra Kay (Don) Steele and Michelle R. Bjella, both of Franklin, IN; her four grandchildren, William, Dianne, Donna, and Jason; her ten great-grandchildren, Alex, Adrianna, Iziak, Vicky, Ashton, Cameron, Chryslin, Blake, Sonja, and Ryan; her sister, Lynn.
Bette was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Earl Rutter, three children, twins Samuel David Rutter and Ronda Sue Phifer and daughter Pamela Jean Hildebrand, her parents, David Osborn and Helen Fansler, and six siblings, Ron, Carl, Clift, Gene, Linda, and Rose.
