Her parents were George & Laura Emmons Hilton. She married Charles Robert Scott on June 5, 1948 & he preceded her in death in 2000.
Betsy graduated from nursing school in 1947 & later became an administrative assistant in the medical field for the University of Cincinnati .

She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Roger Scott.
