Bethany Marie Deane, 18, Kokomo, passed away June 27, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1994 in San Antonio, Texas, and resided in Kokomo.
Bethany attended Anderson Community Schools and one year at Northwestern High School in Kokomo. She was in Student Council, loved drawing, was an artist, an avid reader and loved music. She played power wheelchair soccer for the Henry County Hotshots and was also an ambassador for MDA.
Bethany enjoyed attending MDA Camp and Camp Riley. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, and great sense of humor. She positively touched the lives of all she met.
Bethany is survived by her mother, Jennifer Gonyea Gary McCorkle; father & step-mother, Andrew & Jeanine Deane; twin sister, Lindsay Marie Deane; older sister, Corinne Marie Deane; step-brother, Cody Driver; step-sister, Kirsten Driver; grandparents, Phillip Deane, Joey Holmes, John Gonyea and Joanne Gonyea; step-grandmother, Sharon Spangler; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many special friends, including Caitlin Haines and Joe Grant. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.
