Christmas is the time of year to be with the ones we love. Sharing so much joy and cheer, what a wonderful feelin’. Watching the ones we love, having so much fun… Beth Anne Walmsley radiated the spirit of Christmas. She cherished peace and goodwill and was generous and kind. She had a quick wit and a good sense of humor. She adored those around her, was a good aunt, and was a good neighbor.

Because Beth Anne would not stop for death, he unknowingly stopped at her home for her on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. The carriage held but just Beth Anne and immortality. This life given us by nature is short, but the memory of a well-spent life endures. One day we will know how lucky we were to have loved Beth Anne with wonder, not grief.

Beth Anne was born in Camden and had been a longtime Gloucester neighbor. Since she had been a little girl, she loved her dishes and her Barbies. She was a lifelong “phan” of baseball and the Phillies and was a member of the Phillies Fan Club. She made her career in visual merchandising and had spent years working at Lenox China and the Portmeirion Group in Woodbridge, NJ. At home, Beth Anne loved Christmas and her tree ornaments. She had impeccable taste, an eye for color, and a visually stunning display. Nothing was unfixable to her and she found the best bargains. She ALWAYS found the best bargains as a “super shopper”.

Beth Anne leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Eva Mae Walmsley and her siblings; Karen S. & her husband Robert B. Krause, Charlene & her husband David Hanna, Linda Jeanne & her husband Michael Fischer, Charles E. & his wife Jill Walmsley, Lisa Anne & her late husband John Gerelli, Todd A. Walmsley and was predeceased by her late father Charles H. Walmsley and her late sister Brenda Jeanne Walmsley. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her faithful feline companion, Gracie Lou Freebush.
