Bessie Young Halverson was born March 9, 1928 in Pingree, Idaho. She passed away February 9, 2017 at Autumn Haven Assisted Living Center in Rupert, Idaho.
Bessie was the daughter of Adolph Young and Bernice Swasey, she was raised in Burley, Idaho and graduated from Burley High School. She married Duane Halverson in Rupert, Idaho on August 18, 1948. She lived in Rupert the rest of her life. Bessie was a mother of 3 sons, David (deceased), Don and (Renae) of Rupert, and Dann and (Wi) of Houston, TX.
