Bessie Dean Auxier, 83, of Milan, IN, formerly of Rising Sun, passed away at 9:40 AM, Wednesday, June 15th, peacefully, at Ripley Crossing, Milan IN. Dean was born in Patriot, IN on July 15, 1927, a daughter of the late Vida Ann (Carpenter) and Robert Lee Gregory. She was a graduate of Patriot High School Class of 1943. She worked at Seagram’s Distillery in Lawrenceburg, IN., for over 40 years. She also worked at Rieman’s Grocery and Brown’s Restaurant in East Enterprise, IN. On May 4, 1946 she married George Auxier, who died on April 5, 1995.
