Mrs. Bessie Anna Jackson Romine was born August 18, 1940 in Valhermoso Springs, Alabama to the late Hundley Oscar and Gela Odessa Jackson. She departed this life on January 16, 2017 at USA Rehabilitation Center.
She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Curry’s Chapel C.M.E. Church and remained a devoted member until death. She was united in marriage to Robert Harold Romine for over 40 years. Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Pearl Jennings, Meltia Tapscott and Edie Batts; three brothers, Acie Jackson, Oscar Jackson, Jr. and R. D. Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her husband, Robert Harold Romine; a sister, Ollie Quarmiley of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Dehorice Jackson of Dayton, Ohio and Carnell Jackson of Valhermoso Springs, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
