Beryl M. Schaefer, 71, of 617 Albert Place, died, Thursday, September 9, 2010 at The Gatehouse Hospice with her family at her bedside following an extended illness.
Beryl and her husband, James E. Schaefer, would have observed their 50th wedding anniversary on October 15, 2010.
Beryl was a member of the Consolidated Sportsman’s of Lycoming County, enjoyed reading, camping, crocheting and knitting. She retired in 2001 as a switchboard operator for Susquehanna Health.
Born February 26, 1939 in Warrensville, she was the daughter Harold M. and Bernice I. Bower Wheeland.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Scott E. Schaeffer of Williamsport; daughters, Nancy L. (Tom) Ross and Deborah A. (David) Winner both of Williamsport and Carol M. (Dan) Draves of Lawrenceville, GA and eight grandchildren.
Beryl was predeceased by sisters, E. Arlene Robbins and Norma L. Roedts.
