Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Bobbie Searcy Hindman; children, Nancy, Bert, Jr., Mike, Kurt, and Gordon; his brother, Jack; and sister, Joyce; his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
