Bertie Neel Decker, 100, of Newnan, widow of Clyde Decker, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her home.
Born in Izzard County, AR, January 5, 1917, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Vanatter Neel. She was a homemaker and had a lifelong love for flowers and gardening. Her sweet smile and giving spirit will be remembered by the many lives she touched. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Crawford and husband Russell of Peachtree City; four grandchildren, Erika Hodgson and husband Gary of Smyrna, Kerry Crawford of Louistown, MT, Jacob Crawford and wife Hayley of Dawsonville and Joshua Crawford and wife Sarah of Senoia; five great-grandchildren, Tanner, Emma, McKinley, Noah and Charlotte; and a brother, H.W. “Red” Melton and wife Wanda of Siletz, OR.
