Bertha Lohmeier, 98, formerly of Davis passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Woods Crossing at Woods Point, Brodhead, WI. Born November 27, 1914 in Humbird, WI she was the daughter of Jacob and Barbara (Greub) Kneubuehl. She and Milton J.W. Lohmeier were united in marriage on December 25, 1935 he preceded her in death on February 11, 1977.
Bertha and her husband farmed in the Davis area until 1960 before moving to town and going to work at Micro Switch in Freeport for many years. She was a member of the St. Paul Church of Epleyanna, The Sunshine Club and Willing Workers.
Surviving are four daughters Barbara Olsen of Davis, Janet (Kenneth) Kloster of Durand, Shirla (Donald) Buehler of Janesville, WI, Debra (William) Sanford of Naperville; twelve grandchildren Thomas (Jana) Olsen, Curtis (Kelley) Olsen, Jeffrey (Brenda) Olsen, Lori (Jeffrey) Stearns, Melodie (William) Holt, Michael Kloster, Jill Miller, Jason (Annette) Buehler, Jennifer (Jason) Roberts, Janelle (Scott) Staedter, Kyle Sanford, Karissa (Michael) Klos; twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one sister Louise Rutter, two brothers Jacob and Arnold Kneubuel, son-in-law Richard Olsen, granddaughter Angelica Sanford and granddaughter-in-law Kristen Kloster.
