NEW HARTFORD – Bertha L. (LeGeyt) Warner, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Chester Warner who passed away in 1996. Born April 5, 1923 in Barkhamsted; the daughter of the late Ira and Cora (Case) LeGeyt. Bertha worked for many years at Waring Products and after retirement as a Caregiver. She was a member of Washington Hill United Methodist Church and will be missed. She is survived by her children, Gladys Knybel of Granby, Steven Warner and wife Joann of New Hartford and Calvin Warner and wife Lori of ME; grandchildren, June LaForge, Ginger Marquis, Nannette Ashby, Chester Warner, Steven Warner, Christina Warner; great grandchildren, Aaron Marquis, Marissa LaForge, Samantha Warren, Trista LaForge and Scarlett Warner; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by grandson, Calvin Warner; and siblings, Alta McCorison, Ellen Shattuck, Eunice McGinnis, Esther Shelansky, Newton LeGeyt, Henry LeGeyt, Dwight LeGeyt and George LeGeyt.
