Bertha Irwin, 77 of Chattanooga and formerly of Ringgold, GA, died on Thursday, June 2, 2011. She was of the Catholic faith and married Charles E. Irwin in 1957. Bertha lived in Connecticut for over 30 years before moving to Ringgold with her family in 1993. She worked in the Insurance Industry for over 30 years and the East Ridge office of H & R Block. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Irwin. Survivors include her son, Dennis Irwin, Chattanooga; daughter, Tammie Vough, Fort Myers, FL; sister, Karmen Thygeson, Barre, VT; granddaughter, Sarah Vough, Fort Myers, FL.
