GRANGEVILLE: Bertha Osborn Ackerman Drury, 81 of Grangeville passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Grangeville Health and Rehab Center. She was born to Roy and Luella Osborn in Essex, Montana on April 2, 1936.
She was raised on Texas Ridge in Deary, Idaho. She married Francis Ackerman in 1953 and together they had five children. Francis passed away in 1967 and Bertha remarried Philip Drury in 1978. Philip passed away in 1990.
Bertha worked various jobs in Grangeville including Coast to Coast and the Idaho Country Free Press. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish and belonged to several women’s groups through the years.
