He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Jay, Windsor, Melvin, and Eugene Auten; and 2 sisters, Anne Lois Reynolds and Margaret Beveridge.
Bert was a graduate of Kellogg High School.
He had served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
