Mrs. Bernice Lyles Carlisle, affectionately called “Mom, Mama, Grandmother, Granny and Grandma,” was an extraordinarily, loving and independent woman. She was born in Forest, Mississippi, and was the daughter of the late Aaron and Parlee Roberts Lyles.
