Bernie John Golz, 97 of Grangeville passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Syringa General Hospital in Grangeville. He was born on December 16, 1920 in Evansville, Wisconsin to John and Rose Golz.
Bernie graduated from Evansville High School in 1938. He worked in the area for a while and enlisted in the U.S. Navy for 2 years (1945 & 1946) He married Janett Knudson in 1946.
He graduated from the U. of Wisconsin in Lacrosse on the G.I. bill. He was a teacher and coach in several Wisconsin schools.
