Bernice T. Schultz, 82, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Monday morning, December 20, 2004, at the Life Care Center in Michigan City, Indiana. Mrs. Schultz was born on September 6, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois to Justin and Apelonia (Klickna) Zdanis.
On October 6, 1951, she married Raymond C. Schultz at the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph, Michigan, and, years later, they made their vows again, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, in Three Oaks. Mr. Schultz preceded her in death on March 14, 2003. Mrs. Schultz was employed as a checker at the A & P Grocery Store at locations in Three Oaks, and Michigan City, Indiana. She also was employed in the deli and meat department at Schraders Grocery Store in Three Oaks. Mrs. Schultz was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Three Oaks.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Schultz, of Three Oaks; her brother-in- law, Harold (Jean) Schultz of LaPorte, Indiana; sister-in-law, Dorothy Zdanis of Three Oaks and her nieces and nephews. Her brother, Leo Zdanis preceded her in death on February 15, 2003.
