Bernice Louise Morgan, 97, of Anderson, passed away peacefully with her son by her side on February 25, 2021, at Northview Health and Living.
She was born on April 5, 1923, in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Herbert and Mabel Buttle. Bernice graduated from Alexandria High School in 1941. She was a loving homemaker and retired from Montgomery Ward after 15 years of service. She enjoyed being with her family, crocheting, knitting, and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the St. Matthew Methodist Church.
Bernice is survived by her son, Larry (Julia) Morgan; grandchildren, Lance Morgan, Scott Morgan, Joseph Morgan, and Paul Morgan; many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Morgan; husband, Raymond Morgan; parents, Herbert and Mable Buttle; and her sister, Doris Whitesell.
