Bernice Marie Harron, 93, of Fountain Hill, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. Smith and the late Harold Harron. She was born on January 10, 1925, in Carlisle, PA, to the late Albert and Mary (Bowers) Vanasdalan. Bernice worked for George’s Foodliner and Weis Markets for most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. Bernice enjoyed ceramics, puzzles and cooking.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sue Stewart of Apache Junction, AZ; sons Donald Smith and his wife Donna of Bethlehem and Robert Smith and his wife Sharon of Bethlehem; loving grandchildren Vanessa, Justin, Andrew and Heather and 6 great-grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Vanasdalan and son Edward Smith.
