Bernice M. Kreutzer, 94, died peacefully on May 2, 2020. She was born in Hays Kansas to John and Clara Dinkel. She grew up on a farm near Brighton, CO. During WWII Bernice worked at a munitions plant in Littleton, Co and received an Army/ Navy production award in Excellence, and an award for outstanding achievement for war food production in 1944. She married Wilfred F. Kreutzer “Willy” in 1948 and moved to Commerce City, CO. She worked as a cake decorator at Miller’s Bakery in Denver for over 15 years and loved making cakes for her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Donald Kreutzer (Suzy) Avon, Ct, her daughter Diana Daiker (Wayne) Broomfield, CO, two granddaughters Kimberley Sweetalla (Jody) Arvada, CO and Krystle Daiker (fiancé Ryan Thompson) Golden, CO and great grandson Corey Sweetalla (Desirae) Commerce City, CO and three great great grandchildren Kobyn, Addaleigh and Landyn Sweetalla. She is also survived by her brother Larry Dinkel (Diane) Lakewood, CO, and dozens of nieces and nephews. She also leaves her loving companion Lulu, her pet Shih Tzu.
