Bernice L. Schmoyer, 84, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in her home. She was the wife of the late Robert F. “Huck” Schmoyer, who passed away in 2004. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude (Huber) Theyken. Bernice was a graduate of William Allen High School. She worked for Western Electric, W.T. Grants and as a beautician. Bernice was a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed being on the computer. Survivors: Daughters, Vickie S. Osmond and her husband Larry and Robin L. Schmoyer, all of Bethlehem; sons, Eugene J. “Skip” Schmoyer and his wife Gayle of Sunset Beach, NC and Rick A. Schmoyer and his wife Tina Sandone of Scranton; 5 grandchildren, Duane and Shane Schmoyer, Devon Druckenmiller, Amber Brantley and Robert Osmond; and many great-grandchildren.
