SALEM – Bernice K. Elliott, age 90, died at 12:16 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1928 in Mill Springs, Kentucky the daughter of the late Claude and Maude (Tucker) Perkins.
Bernice was the secretary at the Mid-East Flame Hardening Inc. in Girard which she formerly owned with her late husband, Coleman. She was a member of the First Christian Church and she enjoyed playing cards.
Her husband, Emmett Coleman Elliott whom she married June 4, 1949 preceded her in death on October 12, 2009.
Survivors include a son, Ron (Marlene) Elliott of Salem; a daughter, Sandi (Jim) Alix of Salem; grandchildren, Matthew (Jodi) Alix of Dublin, Michael (Amy) Alix of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and Megan (Jeff) Stockman of Salem and 8 great grandchildren, Lila and Parker Alix, Evelyn and Beau Alix and Cooper, Carson, Caleb and Colt Stockman.
A son, Carlos Elliott and a grandson, Joshua Elliott also preceded her in death.
