Bernice Johnson, 81, passed away on November 22, 2018 in Boise, ID. She was born on August 5, 1937 and was the eldest of 2 other siblings. She was raised in Kuna, Idaho. She graduated in 1955 from Kuna High School. Bernice passed away on Thanksgiving Day surrounded by family. She was married to Dean Johnson for 35 years and they had 3 children. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and great-nephews & nieces tremendously.
Bernice was an extremely caring person and always put others first. She had a tremendous work-ethic and worked for over thirty years at B & B Electric as the Office Administrative Assistant. She was imperative to the operation of the office. She was a loyal and dedicated employee and built many lasting friendships over the years.
Bernice enjoyed going on trips, especially to Jackpot, Nevada where she loved to gamble on the penny and nickel slots with her nieces Renae (Worthington) Lee, Judy (Worthington) Cole, grandkids, and numerous friends. She liked to have fun and was a kid at heart.
Bernice had a passion for playing the organ and an appreciation for classical music. She played the organ at Dunkley Music for several years and enjoyed learning new skills.

Bernice is survived by her sister Orvene Stigile of Meridian, brother Doyle McPherson of Kuna, her daughter Janette Zollinger, son-in-law, Dennis Zollinger, and her grandchildren Dustin Laritz, Crystal Laritz, and Shaina Zollinger all from Boise. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews & nieces. She is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Marian McPherson, her husband Dean Johnson, and her son Randy Easter and her stepson Gary Johnson. She will be deeply missed, but fond memories of her will not be forgotten.
