Mrs. Bernice Hatton Hubbard was born December 15, 1942 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Allen and Juanita Brown Hatton. Bernice confessed her faith in Christ at Springhill M.B. Church (El Shaddai Ministry) and later became a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church.
She was retired from Wayne Farms Corporation after many years as a production worker. Mrs. Hubbard was excellent with her hands and sewing was one of her specialties along with gardening.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Hubbard; parents, Allen and Juanita Hatton; her daughter, Nora Hatton Green; and brother, Allen Hatton Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two grandsons, Earl (Tiffany) Green Jr. and Adrian (Tasha) Green both of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Linda Williams of Decatur and Della King of Hamilton, Ohio; siblings, Lindsey Hatton of Decatur, Lucy Pearl “Pearline” Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, Roosevelt (Georgia) Hatton of Detroit, Michigan, Mary Tate of Chicago, Illinois and Floyd Hatton of Calumet, Illinois; one aunt, Annie Mae Ballard McDonald of Nashville, Tennessee; one son-in-law, Earl Green Sr. of Decatur; great-grandchildren, Jacquez Green, Tyrique Purvis, Jasmine Green, Earleesia Green, Justice Neloms, Aerial Miller, Caleb Watkins and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
