Bernice Gorham, age 87, of St. Joe, passed away on January 9, 2021 at the West Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Bernice LaVonne Andrews, the daughter of Norman Frank and Lois (Pickell) Andrews, was born on October 2, 1933 in Gruver, Iowa. She graduated from Gruver High School in 1951. In 1954 Bernice was united in marriage with George Gorham in Fairmont, MN. After George passed away in 1985 she then married Linus Smith. Before her marriage with George, Bernice had worked for Bell Telephone Company in Estherville. Bernice enjoyed BINGO, baking and playing cards. Bernice is survived by her sons, Brad (Stephanie) Gorham of St. Joe and Doug (Terry) Gorham of Chula Vista, CA; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Theesfield of Armstrong; and a brother, Ronald Andrews of Butte, MT. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and siblings, Donnabelle Higgins, Norma Smith and Lloyd Andrews.
