Bernard E Loeffler, affectionately known as “Bud”, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2019, at the age of 96.
Bud was born to the late Ben and Leona (nee Kramer) Loeffler in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. He remained in Pennsylvania until he retired to Florida. Prior to retirement, Bud worked as a driver and salesman for Coca-Cola. He served during World War II in the United States Army. Bud enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and golf. However, nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a founding Elder of the Fundamental Church of Deer Creek, Pennsylvania.
Bud was the devoted husband of the late Marjorie Fritz Loeffler; beloved father of Pamela J. Hammer (the late William), John B. Loeffler (Kathy), Marilyn L. Loeffler (Kenny Moats), Susan L. Piazza (Michael), and Sally A. Senger (Ron); loving grandfather of C. J. Loeffler (Jaci), Lynsie Roxbury, Michael Piazza (Melissa), Cody Senger, Stephanie Senger, Jordan Piazza, Carson Senger, and Logan Senger; adored great grandfather of Riley, Kloe, Jayden, Macy, Michael and Derek; cherished brother of the late Patricia Hoza (late Albert) and the late Donald Loeffler (Margie Meier); and dear brother in law of Pearl A. Fritz.
