Bernard Albert Campbell, “Bernie” age 57, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, passed on December 11, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
He was born on December 17, 1959, in Baltimore, to Anne and the late Bernie Campbell. He attended St. Jane Frances de Chantel School, and was a 1977 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore.
Bernie was a self taught woodcraftsman and for many years owned and ran RBC woodwork. He enjoyed simple things and everything about nature. He loved being in or around the water, and fishing. He could watch squirrels and birds play for hours, liked to plant and tend to his vegetable gardens, and was really good at carving driftwood.
Bernie had a very good heart and loved his family and relatives dearly. He also loved animals, especially dogs and horses. He spent many days tending to elderly horses at a local horse farm. He enjoyed feeding and brushing them, and showing them love.
Bernie is preceded in death by his father: Bernard Vincent Campbell.
He is survived by his mother: Anne L. Campbell-Distler; and his sister and brother-in-law Jeanne and John Mate; as well as many relatives and friends.
