Bernadine “Bernie” (Tieman) Shook, 64 Bernie Kay Shook of Bloomington passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Born January 20, 1956 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Bernard and Maxine (Reeves) Tieman. Bernie graduated from Bloomington South and attended Indiana University. She married Mark Shook on May 16, 1981.
She worked as a marketing representative in recent years and formerly was a loan officer at the IU Credit Union and a clerk at UPS.
Bernie had strong faith knowing He came to bring us blessing and she was safe in His loving care. She attended Hoosier Harvest Church in Martinsville.
Bernie will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her knowledge of many topics and her love for family. She loved to travel and shop for bargains to share with those she knew and loved. She also loved to laugh, recognizing its healing power.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; her daughter, Kayley (Brian) O’Donnell of Atlanta, Georgia; her son, Kip (Ashley) Shook of Bloomington; the thrill of her life, granddaughter Lennox O’Donnell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
