Bernadette M. Ellner, 72, of New Memphis, died Sunday, January 7, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. She was born April 9, 1934, in Warren County, MI, the daughter of Loren Dickens. She married John M. Ellner on September 15, 1980, in Wainsville, MO and he survives in New Memphis. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Josephine M. Barbeau of Prairie Du Rocher, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul and Beverly Ellner of Red Bud, Mark and Lynette Ellner of Prairie Du Rocher, and Mary Davis. Her father preceded her in death. Mrs. Ellner was a Registered Nurse and was a charge nurse at several major hospitals in the United States during her career. She was a member of St. George Parish in New Baden. Her hobby was sewing.
