Bern Tuttle, 105, of Newton, Iowa, died peacefully October 10, 2017.
Bern did many things in his life but will be remembered for his love of people and plants. Bern was friendly to everyone; he never knew a stranger. There was never a plant that couldn’t be nurtured with his green thumb.
Celebrating his life are Larry Riggs, Paul and Kristine DeKeersgieter (Jake, Josh and Jack), Brad Riggs, and Mark and Janet Tuttle (Matt and Bekah).
Welcoming him to heaven are wife Ardis, daughter Lori, son Lanny, and daughter-in-law Shirley.
The family wants to thank Newton Village for their loving care of Bern over the years.
