Berenice Kirk Ioerger passed away July 19, 2008 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
She was born July 28, 1910 in Wichita, Kansas to parents Lincoln Kirk and Genevive Shorten Kirk. In 1930 she married her High School Sweetheart Lester V. Ioerger who preceded her in death on May 8, 2002
Along with her husband Berenice is preceded in death by her parents Joseph L. Kirk, Genevieve Shorten Kirk and Carolyn Harden Kirk, and sisters Genevieve Kirk Inman and Vesta Kirk McVey.
Berenice is survived by her son Lester Kent Ioerger of Denver, Colorado and daughter Carolyn Ioerger Bounds of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Also surviving Berenice is her son-in-law Lee Edward Bounds of Ft. Walton Beach, daughter-in-law to be Rose Madigan of Denver, Colorado. Grandsons Joseph Kent Ioerger, Kirk Anthony Ioerger, Lee Edward Bounds Jr. and wife in Chula Vista, California and James Lee Bounds and his wife Pam of El Cajon, California. Granddaughters, Kimberly Ioerger Cormack of Denver, Colorado, Debra Bounds Golden and husband Robert of Conyers, GA, and Great-grandchildren Robert L. Bounds, Daniel, James, and Mathew Golden. Brady and Paige Bounds and Brandi and Tyler Paplow.
Berenice was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, Emerald Coast Garden Club, the Arts and Design Society of Ft. Walton Beach, the Society of Scots and a dedicated homemaker, mother and wife.
