Benny Wayne Rasey was born on August 14, 1925 in Harrison, Arkansas to Benjamin and Maggie Rowe Rasey. At the age of six, his parents and his two sisters, Sue and Claribelle (who preceded him in death) moved to Harrison, Arkansas to live at the Rasey Homestead. He went to school in Bergman, Arkansas; walking 3 miles to catch a bus. When he wasn’t in school, he rode his horse along with his dog all over the hills. He was an avid flyer, owning his own plane.

Upon retirement, he and Bea move into a 36 foot 5th wheel, traveling to Yuma, Arizona in Winter and Washington in Summer. Bea passed away in December of 2007.

He met Maxine Harman on E-Harmony and they married in 2008. He then moved to Idaho where they have lived for 11 years.

He made may friends and was an amazing, faithful and Godly man.

He moved from Earth to Heaven between 9:00 and 9:30 P.M. on June 18, 2019 from his residence in Nampa after a full active day.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bea and a son David.
