Ambrosine, Age 94 years old, of Glen Mills, PA, and formerly of West Philadelphia (Overbrook) and South Philadelphia, passed away on January 28th, 2021.Survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Erma (nee DiPrinzio).Benny, was born January 5th 1927, to Giovino Ambrosine and Mary SorrentinoLoving father of Virginia McKenna (Don Felice), Louis Ambrosine (Jeannie), Mary Ambrosine, the late Theresa Ettore (the late John), the late Rita Ambrosine, Ann Camero (John, III) and John Ambrosine (Theresa); cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.Benny was born in South Philadelphia and moved to Overbrook at a young age. He and his wife Erma married in 1948 and lived in West Philadelphia until 2020 than move to Glen Mills PA. Benny served in the US Navy during WWII. A retired Philadelphia Union Carpenter and family man, he was an avid golfer where she spent decades at Cobbs Creek Golf Course with his lifelong buddies – the “Wall Gang”. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He will be forever remembered by all!
