Survivors include: Wife, Morning Bennett Smith of Nicholls, GA; Daughter: Betty Rewis (Robert Cline) of Valdosta, GA; three sons: Wendell (Karen) King of Douglas, GA; Mitchell (Amanda) Hall of Nicholls, GA; Donald Hall (Kim Tharpe) of Nicholls, GA; two brothers: Herman (Vera) Smith of Alma, GA and Henry Smith of Fitzgerald, GA. Fourteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry James Smith, SR and Lillie Mae Cumbass Smith.
