Bennie Lee Williams was born November 12th, 1942 in Macon, Mississippi. To the parents of Ben and Lula Edwards, who preceded her in death. She received her education in the state of Cleveland, Ohio at James Adams all girl school.
Having been raised in a Christian family, she was baptized at an early age and joined the greater Avery A.M.E.
She was united in holy matrimony to Robert Bobby Williams who preceded her in death. The Lord bless their loving Union with three children. Robert Bobby Williams Junior who preceded her in death, Yolanda V. Williams Soper and Gregory L. Williams.
Bennie Lee Williams and family moved from Detroit to California where she worked at Oakland, California Post Office for over 20 years. She really loved working there.
Bennie Lee Williams was a loving mother. She loved the Lord. She loved her family. She touched everyone’s life in a special way. She will be greatly missed.
Benny Lee Williams leaves her Legacy of Love to her beloved children Yolanda V. Williams Soper and Gregory L. Williams. Siblings Jean Edwards Washington, Janet Edwards Cannon, Shirley Edwards, Sheila Edwards Moore, Dora Edwards Palor and Aunt Laura (Johnnie) Tate.Grandchildren Raquel Johnson, Diamond Williams, and Victoria Soper, two grandchildren, two god daughters, and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, many loving relatives, and Friends.
