Benjamin T. “Ben” Rouse, 88, passed away on the evening of November 9, 2017 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. Born March 24, 1929 in Indianapolis, he was the only son of Lawrence T. and Nanabelle Mincy Rouse .
Ben was a 1949 graduate of Manual High School and the following year married the love of his life, Joann Ford. He spent the last several years of his life employed as Chief Engineer working for area hotels.
Ben is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Joann Rouse; his daughters, Pam (Chris) Aulerich and Cindy (Tim) Culp; his grandchildren, Kyle (Brooke) Aulerich, Kara Aulerich, Andrew (Sara) Weber, Adam (Lynn) Weber, Alex (Cris) Weber, Timothy Culp, Destiny Culp and Benjamin Culp as well as his great-grandchildren, Devon and Jack Aulerich, Marissa and Madison Dawes, Nathaniel Wright and Greyson Weber.
In addition to his parents, Ben is preceded in death by two children, Bryan and Debby Rouse.
