Benjamin J. Kovacs, Jr., age 94 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Notre Dame Convalescent Home on Tuesday, June 28. He was the husband of the late Theresa Veno Kovacs. Born in Brownsville, PA on March 14, 1917, Benjamin was the son of the late Benjamin and Julia Nyiri Kovacs and had lived in Norwalk for most of his life.
Survivors include his daughter, Julia (Sarno) Cade and her husband Jack of Norwalk, his son Ben Kovacs III and his wife Patricia of Newtown, his sister Elsie Methven of Claremont, NH, his brother James Kovacs of Danbury, three grandchildren, Wendy, Jaime and Pamela, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Gabriel Kovacs.
