Benjamin is survived by his loving wife Esther Martin, four children; Connie (Lamar) Sims, Nita (Richard) Herrington, Bryan Martin, and Wayne (Donna) Martin, five sisters; Catherine Small, Lorraine Johnson, Violet Henderson, Shannon Lott, and Sammy Smith, two brothers; Elwyn Martin and Gary Martin, five grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
