Benjamin Bruce Williams, Jr. gained his heavenly wings on May 26, 2022, after a long illness. Ben was born on February 25, 1946 to parents Alice (Briscoe) and Benjamin Williams, Sr. in North East, Maryland.

Ben graduated from North East High School class of 1964, where he played basketball. He was a great basketball player and had many trophies and honors to prove it. He worked at his grandfather’s (Harry) vegetable and fruit stand and spent a lot of time fishing.

He was also a member of St. Mark AUMP Church in Elk Neck, MD where his family attended. He later enlisted in the United States Army in 1968 after he married his High School friend Victoria Williams, during the marriage they had four sons. During his military career he served in combats during the Vietnam War twice. He traveled the globe with his family. He spent 26 years in the service where he received Honorable Discharge as a Sergeant.

After his service he moved to Pennsylvania where he worked at Penn State University as apart of the ground crew that helped to service the famous Beavers Stadium. After spending several years at State College, PA he left and moved to Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed the warm weather, casino, walking, fishing and watching his favorite teams, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions and traveling across the country.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: JoAnne Hamilton and Geraldine Hall.

He leaves to cherish his memories are his four sons: Mark Williams of Elkton, MD, Shawn Williams and Lori of PA, Keith Williams and Shnette of Elkton, MD, Kevin Williams of Elkton, MD; Eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. One devoted cousin, Linda Briscoe that he cherished.
